Supporting education in Vanuatu
In 2016, the Akanesi Mataitonga Trust supported Rotary International in the rebuild of Mbossung Primary School on the island of Ambrym in Vanuatu, which was badly damaged by Cyclone Pam.
The organisation partnered with Santo Rotary Club using locally sourced materials to restore classrooms, sanitation facilities, and water storage infrastructure following cyclone damage.
