Walking 135km to support Tongan education
In March 2022, Frazer Mataitonga walked 135km, visiting 58 schools across Auckland over 24 hours, to raise funds for schoolchildren in Tonga.
The initiative successfully funded 132 laptops and accessories shipped to benefit students' educational continuity. On September 28, 2022, trustees delivered 100 devices to four high schools and Tonga Girl Guides at a ceremony hosted by Tailulu College, with support from The Moana Trust and Parliament Speaker Lord Fakafanua.
The second phase focuses on scholarships and distributing remaining laptops across Tongatapu and neighbouring islands.
